The HMR at Home® program worked for me! I am very busy, so I liked the fact that this diet was easy. I didn't have to think about what to make, or when to prepare it, I just ate the food. Healthy Success Online taught me what to do.
One of the keys to my success was being accountable. They really were serious about keeping me on track - that's what makes this diet plan work! I was given assignments in class, such as trying a double entrée, or adding in an extra shake to my daily schedule. We were required to call in the middle of the week with our data. I liked keeping records to see my progress and it really helped keep me on track
During classes, we would plan for the week. The class helped me plan my busy week so I would reach my goal. I could see how important planning was to having a successful day, week, and month. These classes offered more than support and motivation to get me through another day. I learned skills! I learned solid skills to be successful each day, each week. It was fun being in the class with others and we all shared ideas to help build our skills.
In class, my health educator would support what we learned with scientific studies. Knowing that there was scientific proof behind what I was learning encouraged me to keep going. I knew that what I was doing was healthy and really good for me! Now I share the studies with my family and friends, and they are healthier! This diet works!
Now if I gain a pound, I remember my success -- I have lost 58 pounds! I don't wallow in depression from a weight gain; I focus on the skills I've learned and used to get those 58 pounds off. I practice the behaviors I've learned and the weight comes off. It really works!
