When you weigh on a standard scale you see the pounds you've lost -- but that loss is both fat and water weight changes. You're really interested in how much FAT you're losing, so use our Fat Loss tool below to estimate the number of pounds of fat you will lose in a week. You'll need to estimate how many calories you ate last week and how many calories you burned in activity to determine your fat loss. You'll also need your beginning and ending weight last week.
1. First determine how many calories you ate last week. If you're not sure how to figure this out, order our record keeping checkbook and get the unique HMR calorie counting system.
2. Determine how many calories you burned off in physical activity for the week. See our Calorie Burner Tool to help you calculate this.
3. Make note of your beginning weight and ending weight for the week.
